YMCA Summer Bash, LFP Council Meets: Today in Shoreline-Lake Forest Park
Each day, Patch will provide a peek at events and happenings around Shoreline and Lake Forest Park.
In Shoreline, the community is invited to celebrate summer at the Dale Turner Family YMCA Mid-Summer Bash on Thursday, July 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
From the invitation:
“This family-friendly event is free and open to the community and will include a bounce house, field games, crafts and more! BBQ dinner will be provided. Please bring a blanket, chairs or something for your family to sit on. Donations of school supplies and backpacks for local youth will be collected and much appreciated!”

The Dale Turner Family YMCA is at 19290 Aurora Ave. N. in Shoreline.
And in Lake Forest Park, the City Council will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting Thursday and consider whether to take a position on the upcoming King County Parks levy election Aug. 6. The meeting is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at City Hall, 17425 Ballinger Way N.E. The full agenda is here. Immediately preceding the full council meeting, the Budget Committee meets from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
