Oscar Halpert, Neighbor

Journalist/copywriter with more than 25 years print and broadcast news experience. I started as a public radio reporter in Eugene, Ore., and went on to write for newspapers in Oregon, California, Illinois and Washington state.  Along the way, I picked up a masters degree in reporting. I've also held a number of non-journalism jobs, from cannery worker to health care finance administrator, and I ran my own  massage therapy business for 4 1/2 years.
