Shoreline Pool

Flag as Inappropriate

Originally built as part of the Forward Thrust initiative in the late 1960s, the city of Shoreline took over Shoreline Pool from King County in 1997 and has expanded hours and services. Since then, the city and its residents have put a local stamp on the community gathering place, which is in the center of Shoreline. The main pool is 25 yards and features six lanes, and the shallow end is about 15 x 15 yards. The pool offers swimming lessons for all ages, shallow and deep water aerobics, lap swims, family swims and public recreational swims. Swim teams from Shorewood and Shorecrest high schools practice and hold meets at the pool. Thousands of people visit Shoreline Pool every year.
