Nestled among the trees of Lake Forest Park, Lake Forest Park Elementary School's history dates back to 1912 with the first building opening its doors in 1914. The current school is becoming more diverse with about 32 percent of the student body reporting to be racial minorities. The school is led by principal Aimee Miner who was hired in July of 2009. The average experience of teachers at the school is 12.7 years and more than 75 percent have a master's degree.
