NW SolarFest a Local Resource for FUN and Education

NW SolarFest is the place to experience fun while learning how to increase home and business efficiencies resulting in greater comfort and savings while helping the planet.

No-where else can you experience a laid back fair atmosphere of music, beer, kids activities, cool cars and exhibits with learning how to save money and help the planet.

NW SolarFest is an annual regional sustainable living fair created by Shoreline Solar Project

The fun factor: This year Cascade Bicycle Club is putting on a bike safety rodeo so be sure to bring the kids bikes and helmets. Seattle Electric Bike will also be giving electric bike demonstrations. The Kids zone is always a popular event. Graham Kerr formerly known as the Galloping Gourmet was well received last year and he will be back as a special guest speaker this year. Music lovers will be thrilled to know that Ravenna Woods will be the headliner band this year.

CleanScapes is bringing one of their Garbage Trucks so kids can sit in the truck and get their picture taken.

Be sure to check out the Solar Store where solar ovens, solar toys, books and solar kits are available at reasonable cost.

Then of course there is the beer garden stocked with sustainably made cold beer from Sierra Nevada Brewery.

The Business side:

Exhibitors and fair goers benefit from the opportunity to network with a wide range of vendors, non-profits and utilities while enjoying the sites and sounds the fair has to offer.

Are you interested in saving money on your utilities and reducing costs for materials? Would you like to increase the comfort level of your home or business? Interested in making your property more attractive with less maintenance? Would you like to have fun with your family, co-workers or friends?

Then participate in NW SolarFest as an exhibitor, attendee or volunteer. This ever-expanding event has something of interest to everyone from healthy gourmet cooking to living lightly.

Those interested in exhibiting can find out all the information they need from this link: http://p0.vresp.com/tpQYn1
