Environmental Help Desk for Business

The Environmental Help Desk is an online service business owners use to get answers to green supply chain, innovations and certification questions.

Want to know more about "Green" supply requirements, certifications and "environmental innovations that can save businesses money while reducing impact on the environment?"

The Environmental Help Desk is staffed by "Green Plus professionals," and supported by graduate assistants from Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Developed through a partnership of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Business Civic Leadership Center and the Institute for Sustainable Development's Green Plus program, the Help Desk is a free resource to help small and medium-sized businesses. 

How it works:

You can ask a question on the home page of the Environmental Help Desk, which will be answered by graduate assistants, or read through the web site by topic to obtain in the information you need.

Each topic includes an examination of the major issues affecting the industry and the benefits of the strategies being suggested. There are three categories of information:
