Shoreline Could Get a New Off-Leash Dog Park this Summer
The city will get a staff report at its meeting tonight recommending it lease a 2-acre site on the Fircrest Campus in East Shoreline.
Shoreline dog lovers could soon have a new option for puppy playtime.
At its study session tonight, the Shoreline City Council will receive a staff report recommending it lease space to construct a second fenced off-leash park, this one in East Shoreline, on the Fircrest Campus. The area is a two-acre section of the southeast corner of the Fircrest Campus located at 1750 NE 150th Street.
If the Council authorizes staff to pursue the 5-year lease, it would be effective this May, and the city would construct a fully fenced off-leash park there, at a cost of about $12,000. The annual cost to lease the property would be $2,400.
