With their dramatic come-from-behind victory over Washington 24-14 Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks advance to a second-round NFC division playoff game this coming Sunday against the 13-3 Atlanta Falcons.
The game will start at 10 a.m. PST Jan. 13 in Atlanta, and will be televised on Fox (Channel 13).
The Seahawks advanced to a 12-5 record with an impressive victory over Washington, scoring 24 points after falling behind 14-0. Quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Marshawn Lynch again led the way for the Seahawks, Wilson completing 15 of 16 passes for 187 yards and a touchdown--and running for 67 yards. Lynch carried the ball 20 times for 132 yards, including an incredible 27-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
But Atlanta is a tough South Division champion that had a bye this last weekend, led by quarterback Matt Ryan and three fine receivers. See a Seahawks-Falcons matchup by BleacherReport.com here.
