Seahawks Fall to Falcons, 30 to 28: Your Thoughts on the Season?

Despite a comeback that saw the Seahawks overcome a 20 point deficit, they lost to the Falcons 30 to 28 on a field goal.

Despite a comeback that saw the Seahawks overcome a 20 point deficit, Seattle lost to Atlanta 30 to 28 on a 49 yard field goal kick.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson brought the Seahawks back from a 20-0 deficit to lead the game 28 to 27 in the last 31 seconds of the game. But Atlanta was able to muster enough offense to bring the ball within 49 yards of the end zone -- enough for the winning field goal.

All of the Seahawks' 28 points were scored in the second half of the game.

This season saw the breakout of rookie quarterback Russell Wilson and a convincing 11-5 season, and wins against the New England Patriots, the Green Bay Packers, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Despite that disappointing ending of the season for Seattle fans, what was your favorite moment of the season, and are you ready to think about hopes for next year? Tell us in the comments.

Thank goodness they lost, now my subordinates won't ask to take Sunday off to watch the Chicken Hawks on TV or go to the game.

Dan: The Voice of Reason. Whoda thunk? I agree. Let's start talking about Russell Wilson...

I'll just say this. The timeout should have been irrelevant. After dominating the second half, the Seahawks defense gave up a whole lot of ground in less than 20 seconds. I was shocked when I saw Matt Ryan complete those passes so easily. Monday morning quarterbacking on my part, I know, but I would have love to have seen the Seahawk coaches order those DB's to jam a little bit on the line. If you're playing nickel, there should be another DB to help if the receiver gets behind the first defender. It's a shame either way. Anyway, go Hawks!
