SCC Head Soccer Coach Dremousis Leaves for Trinity Lutheran

George Dremousis spent 12 seasons at the helm at Shoreline Community College

Longtime Shoreline Community College men's soccer coach George Dremousis has resigned to take a position at Trinity Lutheran College in Everett.

Dremousis, who spent 12 seasons with the Dolphins, couldn't pass up the allure of coaching at a four-year school.

"Resigning from Shoreline was difficult because I have so many fond memories of all the players, team, and assistants who worked with me there over the years, many of whom remain my closest friends," said Dremousis. "The Shoreline family has been a huge part of my life, but I saw an opportunity at Trinity to take over a young, very talented team that was nationally ranked and has the potential to compete for a title right away. With the connections and contacts I've established in the NWAACC (Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges) over the years, I'm hoping to make Trinity a magnate school for state players who want to compete at a high level, but also pursue a quality education at an institution with an outstanding student to teacher ratio."

While at Shoreline, Dremousis led the Dolphins to four playoff appearance, and became the school's all-time leader in wins in 2008. Before coming to SCC, Dremousis coached girls soccer at Edmonds Woodway.
