Everett Breaks Halftime Scoreless Tie, Defeats Shorewood 2-0 in Girls Soccer

Shorewood is 3-3-3 overall and 2-3-1 in conference play. Everett is 8-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play.

Everett maintained its unbeaten Wesco 3A record by scoring twice in the second half to defeat Shorewood 2-0, Tuesday night in girls soccer.

At the end of the first 40 minutes the game was tied 0-0, and  Shorewood had three shots on goal and Everett four.  In the second half, Everett stepped up their intensity and scored in the 58th minute on a goal by Bailey McMullen that was assisted by Haley Ayers.  Seven minutes later the same two players combined for their second goal in the same fashion, Ayers assisting McMullen's shot.  The Shorewood goalie was Ashley Swan and Everett had Katie Webber covering the goal.

Shorewood is 3-3-3 and 2-3-1 in conference play.  Everett is 8 wins 1 loss and 6-0 in conference play.
