Shorewood Swimmer Anni Hecker Signs with Oregon State
T-bird senior earned four medals at state meet this month
Shorewood senior swimmer Anni Hecker signed a national letter of intent this month to swim for Oregon State of the Pac-12 Conference.
Hecker, a sprinter for T-bird coach Susie McDowell, earned four medals at the state 3A meet this fall at the King County Aquatic Center.
Hecker placed fifth at the 3A state meet in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.53 seconds and sixth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.56 seconds.

She also swam the anchor legs of two of the T-Birds' relay teams that placed: the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay that both placed fourth overall.
