Shorewood Boys Tennis Beats Meadowdale, Assured Share of League Title
Shorewood wins 5-2 over Mavericks, Monday afternoon
The Shorewood T- Birds' boys tennis team defeated the Meadowdale Mavericks tennis team 5 matches to 2 matches, Monday afternoon to gain at least a tie for the Wesco South 3A league championship.
They were led by Logan Keebler's straight set win at number two singles and the doubles come from behind victory of Cameron McDowell and Stuart Schachle at number one doubles. They will play Stanwood at Stanwood this Wednesday in a match up of the top teams in Wesco South and Wesco North. The match starts at 3:30 p.m. Stanwood has locked up the Wesco North championship and has a record of 10-1 in league and 13-1 overall. Shorewood has a record of 10-2 league and 12-3 overall.
