Shoreline Community College Standout to Play for Hawaii Pacific

Sean Jones, who averaged 17.5 points this season for the basketball team, is awarded a grant-in-aid.

Sean Jones, a basketball player at , has signed a grant-in-aid with Hawaii Pacific University to play basketball there next season.
 
The 6'6" forward from O'Dea High School in Seattle averaged 17.5 points a game for the Dolphins in 2010-11, with 5.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and one steal. Jones helped lead SCC to a 13-13 record in 2010-11 and fifth place in the NWAACC Northern Region.  He was also a mainstay on 19-6 team in 2009-10 that won the NWAACC Northern Region Championship.

Jones will finish his AA degree this summer and transfer to Hawaii Pacific in the fall to begin play with the Sea Warriors.
