Shorecrest's Nicole Harris Leads Shoreline Area Track Athletes at State

Shorecrest's Meera Limaye places fourth in singles in Class 3A state girls tennis

The state championships were held this past weekend around the state and the following athletes placed for Shorecrest and Shorewood in track and field and for Shorecrest in boy and girls tennis.

Boys and Girls Track and Field: 

Boys and Girls Track and Field: Nicole Harris of Shorecrest placed second in the State 3A girls 300-meter hurdles Saturday at the State track and field championships at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma.

Aiko Mizumori-Canfield of Shorecrest was third in the girls javelin throw at 130-5.

David Fan of Shorewood was fourth in the boys 100 meter dash.

Shorecrest's Carter Osborne placed seventh in the State 3A boys' 800-meter run.

Shorecrest senior Kathryn Andria-Habermann placed eighth in the girls 400 meters. The Shorecrest team of Kathryn Andria-Habermann, Nicole Harris, Sarah Beland and Amanda Banks finished fifth in the girls 4x200-meter relay.

Shorewood junior Alaina Olson tied for ninth place in the girls high jump.

Boys and Girls Tennis: 

Shorecrest's Meera Limaye was fourth in singles at the State 3A championships in Kennewick, while the Scots' Juan Ramirez was eighth in boys singles.
