Shorecrest Math Wizards Take Second Place at State

Washington State Math Competition was held earlier this month in Yakima.

Three students recently took home second place honors at the state level in the Washington State Math Competition.

The competition was held at Eisenhower High School in Yakima on April 16. They earned their award in the Topical Teams section for Division 1. To qualify for the state level, the Shorecrest math team earned first place at a regional competition March 9 at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo.

Congratulations to the math wizards at Shorecrest High School.
