Shorecrest Girls Beat Meadowdale, Will Play from 3A District 1 Hoops Title

Scots will play Glacier Peak Feb. 18 at Lynnwood High School for 3A District 1's No. 1 seed to regionals

Led by seniors Brianne Lasconia (14 points) and Janie Uppinghouse (13 points) the Shorecrest girls basketball tam won a 3A District 1 semifinal playoff game 42-39 over Meadowdale at home Saturday.

Shorecrest (18-5) won its fifth straight game. 

Second-seeded Shorecrest will play fourth-seeded Glacier Peak at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at Lynnwood High School for the No. 1 seed to regionals out of 3A District 1.

If the Scots lose, they will play a loser-out, winner-to-regionals game on Feb. 21.

Shorecrest beat Glacier Peak (17-5) twice this season.
