King's Robotics Teams to Defend State Title

Knights win six trophies at regional event Nov. 19 and 20

King’s Schools three high school Robotics FTC teams, CyberKnights 3717, CyberDaze 4590, and CyberReign 5076 qualified for the state championships last month.

While the league has set no limits on the size of teams, King’s High School has elected to compete as the three separate teams in order to maximize the abilities and potential of each of the 27 Robotics members.

The regional qualifying competition took place November 19 and 20 at Tahoma Junior High. Of the 40 teams competing, 3717 and 4590 placed 1st and 4th in the qualifying round of the Cascade division with team 5076 claiming the 1st place finish in the qualifying round of the Olympic division.
