Highland Terrace student selected to AAA Safety Patrol Hall of Fame
Fourth year in a row a Highland Terrace student chosen
Brenna Day, a sixth grader at Highland Terrace, has been selected for the AAA School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame. Brenna was chosen as one of the top 10 patrollers of the year by AAA of Washington. This is the fourth year in a row that a student from Highland Terrace has been selected. Mark Owen, fifth grade teacher, is the school's safety patrol adviser.
Brenna entered a writing contest in which she wrote about her experiences on safety patrol and why safety patrol is important to her and Highland Terrace. She received her award on Friday, May 6 at the Seattle Mariners baseball game at Safeco Field.
