Former Shorecrest Students Return for Alumni B-Ball Game

Former players from the Scots' boys' and girls' basketball teams returned to Shorecrest for two alumni games, Saturday night.

The games, featuring new and old Shorecrest alums, were the last games that will be played at Shorecrest before the old gym, along with the J and S hall, are demolished to make way for a new .

"Food was donated, burgers were grilled, donations were accepted, and the Best Popcorn In Wesco was enjoyed," according to Shoreline Area News.
Laughter, cheers, and tears rattled the rafters one last time.

The female alumni took the court against Shorecrest's varsity girls team, coached by Dori Monson, who led the girls to 4th place at State this year.

The alumni, in both games, edged the current varsity teams, with the former women winning 51-47 and the men by winning by just five points.
