Former Curtis Star Isaiah Thomas Scores Season-High 27 Points Against Boston Celtics (VIDEO)

Making his second start in six weeks, Thomas led the team in scoring, as well as four rebounds, five assists and a steal in 40 minutes.

SACRAMENTO, CA-Former Curtis star and Tacoma native Isaiah Thomas is back at it.

The diminutive guard had his best offensive showing of the season over the weekend for Sacramento in the Kings' 118-96 victory over the Boston Celtics.

Thomas, who played three years at the University of Washington, scored 27 points, collected four rebounds, five assists and a steal in 40 minutes of play.

Beset with injuries, the Kings started Thomas for the second time in six weeks. For a guard who was NBA Rookie of the Month twice last year, some were expecting him to see more playing time this year.

Maybe after this performance, he will.

Good for him. I was worried when he was no longer starting, but he sure showed them a thing or two last night! Damn, I wish they would move this franchise to Seattle.

You said, not me, Dan!
