Work to Fix Sink Hole Will Close N.E. 178th Street in LFP from Dec. 3-6

The City of Lake Forest Park’s Public Works Department will be closing NE 178th St due to a sink hole in the traveled portion of the road. The road will be closed beginning December 3, 2012 at 6 a.m. and remain closed until December 6, 2012 at 6 p.m.

Due to the nature of the work, vehicles will not be permitted to travel through the work zone. There will be detours set up to accommodate vehicles traveling both eastbound and westbound on NE 178th St.

•Detour eastbound: NE 178th St -> 37th Ave NE -> NE 170th Pl/Hamlin Rd NE -> Brookside Blvd NE -> NE 178th St

•Detour westbound: NE 178th St -> NE 180th St -> 33rd Ave NE -> NE 178th St.
