Will You Watch the 2013 Presidential Inauguration?

On Monday, President Barack Obama will start his second term of office. Will you be watching?

On Monday, Jan. 21, President Barack Obama will be sworn in for his second term as president.

Actually, his official swearing in will take place in private the day before, on Jan. 20, as set out in the Constitution. But since Jan. 20 is a Sunday, the inaugural festivities will be delayed by one day, as is traditional, to Jan. 21.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time, viewers of the Presidential Inauguration will be treated to all the pomp and circumstance they could want, including a ceremonial swearing in, inaugural address, parade and national anthem sung by Beyonce.

The inauguration will be carried on all major networks.

Obama's first inauguration stirred up a lot of excitement, but that may have ebbed somewhat for his second term. We want to know: Do you plan to watch the inauguration?

Barbara, I have to ask. What are you so proud of and what are all those reasons why you say he is one of our best presidents? I am dying to hear your many many reasons why you feel this way. Don't disappoint.

Well, bully for you and your small business, that you have learned how to exploit the labor of others for your own gain just like Mitt. What to you pay your employees? Do you include health care? You say you provide services that we need, but that teachers, road builders and first responders don't??? What planet do you live on? Business owners have mastered the art of selfishness and nearly destroyed our country in 2008. The last thing we should do is put them in control. The only allegiance they have is to profit, so they'll ship jobs overseas and reduce working people into poverty if they can. As a small businessman for decades, I don't think I deserve any special respect, and am proud to be able to pay taxes in this great country. You, on the other hand, are a borderline traitor. We heard all this blather about "job creators" so we gave them huge tax breaks, and they turned out to be "job EXPORTERS". Over 50,000 factories closed in the USA from 2000 to 2008, with millions of jobs sent overseas. Obama is getting no help from greedy Republicans to fix things...hopefully they'll never be in charge again unless they manage to rig elections.

A little side blurb. Obama has spent 16 million millions. That number is incomprehensible. Spilling it out in millions seems to really describe how horrible this number really is. I feel like the Democrats have their heads in the sand hiding from the fact that our country is all but financially destroyed. All they seem to see is how wonderful it is that we have risen above our past predudices and elected a man of color. How wonderful! Now that we're all touchie feelie about having an African American president when will they come to grips with what he has done and is continuing to do this this country financially. Now picture that same number doubled or larger in 4 years once he has completed his financial destruction of America. He was talking about change, now that is change! Now picture widespread unemployment, millions and millions of people homeless, education at a standstill, a hugely diminished military and our past allies overrun by our enemies, dramatic food shortages, crime out of control and the icing on the cake is we won't have weapons to protect ourselves because Obama made them illegal. But don't believe me. Just wait 4 years.

The inauguration was a waste of money since he was already sworn in Sunday. Why have 2 ceremonies? Obama's speech once again was dividing the Country not uniting. Maybe he should lead by example and WE THE PEOPLE would find common ground. Bush's mistake was not cutting spending to fund the two wars. The average cost of the was around 123 billion per year. Medicare fraud alone wastes 100 Billion. Obama has added 8 trillion in debt and continues to promise status quo. When the Republicans has majorities in both Senate and House with Bush they became partisan cronies who were more interested in being reelected that remain fiscally constrained. The average Medicare patient is contributing 120,000 dollars while consuming 350,000 in benefits. How can President Obama stand there and say things will remain the same? This is a lie and it will not be sustainable. If this were any business or family budget we would already be in Chapter 11
