Who's Running for Shoreline City Council in 2013
Two of the races are contested, with Will Hall challenged by Tom Jamieson, and Christoper Roberts challenged by Michael Javorsky.
A now-familiar face at Shoreline City Council meetings and Patch blogger, Tom Jamieson, has tossed his hat into the ring for Shoreline City Council, challenging incumbent Will Hall for Position No. 3. Jamieson has been outspoken in opposing Shoreline's recently passed plastic carry-out bag ordinance, and with other activists is launching an initiative petition drive to repeal the ordinance.
Incumbent Christopher Roberts has drawn a challenger in Michael Javorsky for Position No. 7, while current mayor Keith McGlashan and council member Shari Winstead are unopposed in their races.
