VIDEO: Argument Preceded Fatal Shoreline Shooting of Man, Still Unknown Who Pulled Trigger

A man and woman are in custody in the shooting death of a man they knew

A man and woman are in custody of the King County Sheriff's Office after an argument turned deadly in the yard of a home at 145th St. and Densmore Ave. N. before noon on Thursday.

It's unknown who pulled the trigger and shot a man in his 40s. The King County Medical Examiner 's office is on the scene. King County Sheriff's Major Crimes detectives are investigating. All parties involved in the argument and shooting apparently knew each other, King County Sheriff Steve Strachan said.

Shoreline Police received a call at 11:54 a.m. about a disturbance and the shooting occurred while officers were en route to the scene, Strachan said.

A woman who lives down the street on Densmore Ave. N. said she heard arguing before the gunshots.

"I heard fighting and then I heard 'pop, pop, pop," she said.

She added that she had witnessed what she considered suspicious activity around the home.

The police have shut down 145th St. from Wallingford Ave. N. to Ashworth Ave. and traffic is being diverted.
