UPDATE: Sterner Gains Ground on French in LFP Council Race
Position 6 incumbent Sterner within 64 votes of French
Update:
Tom French's lead in the Lake Forest Park Council race stabilized on Tuesday and he led by 66 votes over Ed Sterner who had gained ground in Monday's tally.

Lake Forest Park City Council incumbent Ed Sterner has cut into the lead of challenger Tom French and trails by only 64 votes through Monday's count.
French has 50.58 percent of the vote or 2,280 votes to Sterner's 49.16 percent or 2,216 votes.
There may be as many as 684 votes left to count, according to King County Elections statistics. So far, 5,158 ballots have been counted out of a possible, 9,408 or 54.83 percent of the registered voter total.
Chuck Paulsen is within 102 votes of Jeff Johnson in the race for the open Position 4 seat vacated by mayoral candidate Dwight Thompson.
