State Test Scores Reported; Shoreline Schools Show Improvement in Some Areas

Math scores improve in grades three through eight

The State Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn has released the 2011-2012 test scores for Washington state.

The Shoreline School District saw scores improve for the most part in 2011-2012 from 201--2011.

The biggest increases came in math scores for grades three through eight, district-wide.

High school scores at the 10th grade level were slightly lower in reading and writing for the class that took the test last year when compared to the class who took it the previous year.

For more detailed reports for the district and each school go to the OSPI report card.
