The City of Lake Forest Park reports that a large sinkhole around a cross culvert on NE 195th St, between 35th Ave NE and 34th Ave NE, has forced crews to close the street.
To repair the sinkhole, Public Works crews need to use controlled density fill material.
Because the asphalt plant will be closed through the holidays, the city is planning to do the final asphalting when the asphalt plant reopens Jan. 2, weather permitting.
