Shorewood Doubles Team Wins District Title Qualifies For State
Shorewood's No. 1 doubles team of Francesca O' Malley and Daniella Brengelmann earns second trip to state tournament
Shorewood's No. 1 doubles team of Francesca O' Malley and Daniella Brengelmann defeated the Mountlake Terrace team of Gillian Braden- Armstrong and Nicole Bouche for the 3A District 1 Doubles Championship.
The win qualified O'Malley and Brengelmann for the 3A WIAA state tennis tournament for the second straight year.
The match was very close with the T-Birds winning 4-6, 7-6 ( 10-8 ), 7-5.

Braden- Armstrong and Bouche will play a loser out and winner to state match versus the winner from the consolation final.
The WIAA state tennis tournament starts Friday morning May 25th and continues Saturday May 26th at Kamiakin High School and the Tri-City Court Club in Kennewick, Washington.
