Shoreline Police Blotter: Vandals Go On Tagging Spree

The following blotter items range from June 13, 2012 – June 19, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

June 13

iPADS STOLEN: iPads were reported stolen from the Shoreline Recreation Center, Einstein Middle School and Shorewood High School.

BURGLARY: Someone broke a rear door and stole jewelry from a single family home in the 15200 block of Ashworth Ave.

June 16

THREATS: An estranged husband threatened to assault and kill his wife and children in the 15200 block of Wallingford Ave. N.

ASSAULT: Near 188th St. and Firlands Way, a guy chased down a guy who he believed prowled his aunt’s car and in his attempt to detain him injured him.

June 17

VANDALISM: Someone tagged ROGUE in spray paint at Paramount Park Open Space, 946 N.E. 147th St., and tags of ZERO were scratched into a sign, a post and a garbage can.

VANDALISM: Someone tagged ROGUE, MBK in gold spray paint in a men’s bathroom at Richmond Highlands Park.

VANDALISM: Someone tagged in black and blue pen, New West Side Piru and Juggalo tags at the Aurora Village Transit Center. Holly Park tags were also found possibly referring to the Holly Park Crips.

June 18

VANDALISM: At Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, someone tagged RESKA three times on the west side of the pedestrian bridge and Vice Lord gang graffiti in the porta potty in the upper parking lot along with the name HOKES.

VANDALISM: Someone reported that a suspect keyed the passenger side door of a VW Beetle in the Shorewood student lot.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone used a metal pipe to crack a window at Shorewood high school.

VANDALISM: Suspect(s) painted graffiti at Carpets to Go, 14713 Bothell Way N.E., on the rear doors, electrical box, the walls and the company truck parked in front.

VANDALISM: Someone spray painted, in purple and green, an anarchy symbol and smiley face on the bathroom doors at Cromwell Park, 18030 Meridian Ave. N.

DUI ACCIDENT: A female person was arrested for driving under the influence after she hit a parked car and subsequently blew a .127 on a breath test.

June 19

BURGLARY: Someone entered a garage door that had been accidentally left open over night and a high end bike and tools were stolen.

COMPUTER STOLEN: Suspect(s) took a victim’s computer from a table in the gym concession area at Shorecrest High School.

BURGLARY: Suspect(s) threw a brick through a glass door and stole firearms, computers and jewelry in the 2200 block of N.E. 175th St.

BURGLARY:  Suspect(s) kicked in a front door and took a full jewelry box in the 100 block of N.E. 190th St.

TRESPASS:  Someone shot heroin and nods off in a locked bathroom at Starbucks, 1295 N. 205th St.. The fire department forced the door open and the person was trespassed.
