Shoreline Police Blotter: Owner of Magazine Sales Company Threatens Night Manager of Rodeway Inn

The following blotter items range from June 28, 2012 – June 30, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

June 28

JUVENILE RUNAWAY: A juvenile snuck out of a window of a home in the 900 block of N. 199th St. after the person's mom went to bed. The juvenile is a chronic runaway and has a risk plan with Child Protective Services.

VANDALISM: A guy who lives in an apartment in the N.E. 145th St. had the tires slashed on his red 2000 Toyota Camry while it was parked in front of the apartment building. He replaced the tires and they were slashed again the next night with what police believe was a thin-bladed knife.

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE: Someone in the 900 block of N. 198th St. tried to stab themselves in the abdomen.

MARIJUANA: Someone walked down the 14900 block of Aurora Ave. N. with beer and marijuana.

June 29

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A mother called police to say she thought her daughter was at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park drinking with an adult. Two guys were found with the daughter and an minor in possession arrest was made.

THREATS: A female person who works at Deseret Industries, 17935 Aurora Ave. N., went to the Shoreline Police Station to report that over the past week she had been harrassed by a co-worker. 

VEHICLE RECOVERY: A Toyota reported stolen to Everett Police was recovered in a cul-de-sac in the 200 block of N. 168th St.

LARCENY: Someone reported that two adult men took eight bottles of Grey Goose vodka from Fred Meyer and left without paying. The bottles were later recovered in the pakring lot of the business.

MONEY STOLEN: A victim's vehicle was entered, rifled through and had money stolen in the 700 block of N. 148th St.

June 30

BURGLARY: An unknown suspect entered a house in the 17500 block of Eighth Ave. N.E. through an unlocked rear sliding glass door and took several small electronic items.

DUI ACCIDENT: A drunk driver who was speeding got into a rollover collision in the 14800 block of Westminster Way.

AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a 1990 Honda Accord from in front of a residence in the 1600 block of N. 183rd St.

TRESPASS: The owner of a magazine sales company who was staying at the Rodeway Inn rented five rooms at the motel was allowing guests in his party to smoke in non-smoking rooms and threatened the night manager and was subsequently trespassed from the property.
