Shoreline Police Blotter: Pickpocket Takes Wallet Inside Super Pawn

July 22
DINE AND DASH: A suspect took advantage of a disturbance at Leena's Cafe, 17732 15th Ave. N.E. to dine and dash, leaving an unpaid bill.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Suspect(s) cut a lock and opened a northside door at the Center for Human Services, 17018 15th Ave. N.E., and gained forced entry into a shed and stole items.
CHURCH BURGLARIZED: Unknown suspect(s) entered Calvary Chapel Church, 15200 block of 15th Ave. N.E., through an unlocked door on the west side of the building took cash from a register.

PICKPOCKET: Someone's pocket was picked of a wallet and contents worth more than $250 inside Super Pawn, 20305 Aurora Ave. N.
BURGLARY: Suspect(s) broke a rear window and entered an unoccupied residence owned by the Shoreline Water District in the 1500 block of N.E. 169th St.
SHOPLIFTING: A suspect took items from Safeway, 17202 15th Ave. N.E., concealed them in a coat and exited the store. The suspect was caught by the store's loss prevention officer.
FIRE: Police were among those responding to an accidental fire in the rear bedroom of a two-bedroom apartment at the Tyee Apartments, 17200 block of Aurora Ave. N. The fire was caused by an electrical problem involving a duplex outlet next to a queen-sized bed.
July 24
MAIL THEFT: Someone stole checks from a mailbox in the 14500 block of Fremont Ave. N. Unknown individuals used the victim's routing number to fraudulently pay an AT&T bill.
VANDALISM: Someone spray painted graffiti on bathrooms at Echo Lake Park, 19900 Ashworth Ave. N.
July 25
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Suspect(s) smashed glass doors and windows and attempted to enter Aurora Video and the old liquor store in the 15200 block of Aurora Ave. N.
MAIL THEFT: Someone stole outgoing checks from a mailbox in the 19800 block of Wallingford Ave. N.
MISSING PERSON FOUND: An elderly man with dementia was found at Aurora Transit Center, 1524 N. 200th St.
LARCENY: Someone stole property from backpacks in the locker room at Shoreline Pool, 19030 1st Ave. N.E.
FRAUD: A woman in the 700 block of N. 165th St. said she went to check her bank account and saw a $60 charge for "Speeddate.com" on her debit card that she said she did not make. She called her bank and was able to get the charge canceled.
AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a locked 1989 Toyota Camry from the 1200 block of N. 173rd St.
SHOPLIFTING: Someone shoplifted alcohol from Safeway, 15332 Aurora Ave. N.
SHOPLIFTING: A suspect stole $317.90 in liquor from Safeway, 15332 Aurora AVe. N.
