Shoreline Police Blotter: Three Shoreline Churches Burglarized

The following blotter items range from July 26, 2012 - July 29, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

July 26

ASSAULT: A group of day workers reportedly assaulted another day worker at Bank of America, 1121 N. 205th St. No suspect information was given and no witnesses were willing to come forward.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone unscrewed wood from the window on the doors of Cedar Brook Elementary, 2000 N.E. Perkins Way, and attempted to cut copper pipe in the building.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: A loose pit bull attacked a dog walker and his two Jack Russell terriers in the 3000 block of N.E. 149th St. 

VEHICLE PROWL: Someone smashed the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked in the upper lot of Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, 2021 N.W. 190th St. and stole items.

BIKE STOLEN: Somone stole a bicycle from a driveway in the 16000 block of 25th Ave. N.E. that was somewhat hidden between two vehicles.

DUI: A driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in the 19700 block of 25th Ave. N.E. after initial reports showed a blood alcohol content of .194 The person did not have vehicle insurance.

July 27

STOLEN WHEELS: Someone stole the wheels and tires off a brand new Chevy Tahoe that was parked at Chuck Olson Chevrolet, 17037 Aurora Ave. N.

LIQUOR STOLEN: A male person reportedly stole five bottles of liquor from Safeway, 15332 Aurora Ave. N.

DRUMS GONE: Someone stole drum equipment from United Methodist Church, 17839 Aurora Ave. N.

STOLEN CAR RECOVERED: Police recovered a stolen car in the 14500 block of 30th Ave. N.E.

July 28

BIKE STOLEN: Someone removed a Cannondale bicycle from a vehicle bike rack in the 1200 block of N.E. 177th St.

DRIVER SHOT: Someone shot a BB or pellet gun at a male driver in a white 2010 Mercedes E-350 and hit him in the neck. He was traveling southbound  in the 19200 block of Aurora Ave. N.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Suspect(s) kicked in a door and entered Zion Presbyterian Church, 17920 Meridian Ave. N., found a set of keys and stole a church van.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone stole a video camera and microphones from a church in the 17400 block of Fifth Ave. N.E.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone broke into Northwest Church, 15555 15th Ave. N.E., by using a crow bar on the north door.

KAYAKS STOLEN: Two kayaks were reported stolen to police from a private beach in the 20400 block of Richmond Beach Drive.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A person attempted suicide in the 100 block of N.W. 183rd St. A gun, knife and sleeping pills were found at the scene.

July 29

SHOPLIFTING: Someone shoplifted pants and cigarettes from Costco.
