Shoreline Council to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed 2013 Budget Tonight

Veterans Day proclamation will be presented at beginning of meeting

The Shoreline City Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Shoreline City Hall and the meeting features a public hearing to receive citizens’ comments on the proposed 2013 budget.

The Council will also hear continued 2013 department budget and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) presentations after the public hearing.

The meeting will also include a discussion of the Draft Comprehensive Plan.

Prior to the business part of the meeting, the Shoreline Veterans Association Chaired by Dwight Stevens will be present to accept the Proclamation of Veterans Appreciation Day.

Sunday, November 11, 2012 marks the 58th anniversary of Veterans Day in the United States. This proclamation recognizes the dedication and sacrifice that the veterans of our community, state, and country have made for the cause of freedom and peace, according to city documents.
