Shoreline Council to Discuss Expansion of Mini-Grant Program

Council could decide to offer up to $10,000 to businesses

The Shoreline City Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall and will discuss the city’s mini-grant programs.

The Council is considering adding a $10,000 pilot business mini-grant program. Some Councilmembers have expressed support for adding this budget item to the 2013 budget while a couple have not. 

The Council will also discuss its 2013 Federal funding priorities

The consent calendar tonight includes the following items:

Adoption of Resolution No. 335 Updating the Transportation Master Plan

Motion to Authorize the City Manager to Obligate $371,950 of Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Funds for the NE 195th Separated Trail Project

Motion to Authorize the City Manager to Obligate $350,000 of Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Grant funds for the Traffic Signal Rehabilitation Program

Motion to Authorize the City Manager to Obligate $190,229 of Surface Transportation Program (STP) Grant funds for the N 175th Street Overlay Preservation project

Motion to Authorize the City Manager to Obligate $246,054 of Surface Transportation Program (STP) Grant funds for the N Westminster Way N Overlay Preservation project
