Shoreline Block Watches Report 36 Residential Burglaries in May

The Shoreline neighborhoood block watches reported 36 residential burglaries to police in May, according to block watch reports. 

Of those calls, 21 were forced entry, 15 were unforced entry and there was one attempted burglary.  

Forced Entries

On May 2, at the 1700 block of North 175th Street, between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., the front door was kicked in.

On May 2 and May 3, at the 17900 block of 23rd Court Northeast, between 8 p.m. on the 2nd and 7:30 a.m. on the 3rd, a door was pried open.

On May 2 and May 3, at the 17900 block of 23rd Lane Northeast, between 9:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 6:50 a.m. on the 3rd, a door was pried open.

On May 3, at the 300 block of North 150th Street, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., a window was unsecured.

On May 4, at the 20100 block of 23rd Avenue Northwest, between 1 and 3 p.m., a glass door window was shattered.

On May 5, at the 1650 block of North 176th Street, between noon and 7:50 p.m., the front door was kicked in.

On May 8, at the 2100 block of North 161st Place, between 8:45 a.m. and 5:40 p.m., a door was pried open.

On May 11 and 12, at the 19600 block of 10th Avenue Northeast, between 10:30 p.m. on the 11th and 4:30 p.m. on the 12th, a window was unsecured.

On May 13, at the 19600 block of 10th Avenue Northeast, between 2:05 a.m. and 7:08 a.m., a window was broken. 

Between May 12 and 16, at the 2300 block of Northwest 197th Street, between 12:55 and 12:59 p.m., a door was forced open.

On May 17, at the 1800 block of North 199th Street, between 10 and 10:18 a.m., a sliding glass door was forced open. 

Between May 12 and 18, at the 14700 block of Meridian Avenue North, between 2 p.m. and 6 a.m., a door was kicked open. 

On May 11, at the 1600 block of North 180th Street, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., someone entered an unsecured window.

On May 22, at the 1800 block of Northeast 177th Street, between 2:10 and 2:15 p.m., a glass pane was broken.

On May 24, at the 15500 block of Wallingford Avenue North, between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m., two doors were kicked in.

On May 24 and 25, at the 15000 block of Greenwood Avenue North, between 10:30 a.m. on the 24th and 9:30 a.m. on the 25th, glass panes were broken.

On May 25, at the 200 block of Northeast 174th Street, between 6 a.m. and 12:40 p.m., a door was kicked in. 

Between May 23 and 25, at the 1700 block of Northeast 147th Street, between noon and 5:30 p.m., a door was kicked in. 

On May 27, at the 14800 block of Interlake Avenue North, at 2:10 p.m., a window was unsecured.

Between May 24 and 29, at the 19900 block of Richmond Beach Drive Northwest, at 3 p.m., someone entered via a doggie door.

On May 30, at the 18300 block of 1st Avenue Northeast, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., a glass pane was broken.

Non-forced entry

On May 3, at the 15500 block of 14th Avenue Northeast, between 1:15 and 6 p.m., a bathroom window was unsecured.

On May 3, at the 1300 block of North 200th Street, between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., an unknown incident occurred.

On May 5, at the 17400 block of 10th Avenue Northeast, at 9 a.m., an unknown incident occurred.

On May 18, at the 100 block of Northwest 183rd Street, between 10 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., someone entered through a doggie door.

On May 11, at the 16700 block of Wallingford Avenue North, between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m., a window was unsecured.

On May 13 and 14, at the 15300 block of Interlake Avenue North, between 1:30 p.m. on the 13th and 12:20 a.m. on the 14th, a door was unsecured.

On May 15, at the 300 block of Northeast 175th Street, between 8:40 and 8:50 a.m., someone entered through an unlocked door.

Between April 12 and May 15, at the 19500 block of Echo Lake Place, at 4 p.m., someone used a hidden key.

On May 20, at the 18300 block of 3rd Avenue Northeast, between 3 and 6:45 p.m., a window was unsecured.

Between May 20 and 21, at the 2300 block of North 190th Street, at 9:29 a.m., an unknown incident occurred.

Between May 15 and 21, at the 20000 block of Wallingford Avenue North, between 5 p.m. on one night and 1 p.m. the next afternoon, an unknown incident occurred.

On May 21, at the 300 block of Northwest 205th Street, between 6:45 and 6:50 p.m., a door was unsecured.

On May 25, at the 1700 block of North 160th Street, between 10 a.m. and 10:20 p.m., a window was unsecured.

On May 28, at the 16000 block of Ashworth Avenue North, between 3:30 and 11:40 p.m., a sliding door was unsecured.

On May 30, at the 15800 block of 6th Avenue Northeast, between 1:40 and 4:30 p.m., a door was unsecured.

Attempts

On May 15, at the 100 block of Northeast 164th Street, between 6:45 and 10 p.m., a door lock was picked.
