Serial Graffiti Suspect in Lake Forest Park Sentenced to Nearly a Year in Jail

A young adult male who was a suspect in 35 graffiti cases in Lake Forest Park spanning back through November of 2011 through the spring of 2012, plead guilty to two counts Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree on August 13, 2012, in King County Superior Court.
Lake Forest Park detectives first learned of the suspect through Shorecrest High School employees in Shoreline. The suspect was interviewed and admitted to placing graffiti on public and private property over a 6-month period. The resulting case investigation was filed with the King County Prosecutor and the suspect received a 364-day sentence.
Coordination between patrol officers and detectives at the Lake Forest Park Police Department resulted in this successful investigation, according to Lake Forest Park Police Sgt. Paul Armbrust.
