Salomon Increases Lead, Ahead of McClelland by 94 Votes, Enough to Avoid Recount

Salomon continues to widen lead, one day closer to clinching election.

Attorney Jesse Salomon is slowly widening his lead on former Shoreline Planning Commissioner Robin McClelland in the race for Terry Scott's open Shoreline City Council Position 6 seat.

Salomon leads by 94 votes as of Tuesday night. He has been picking up votes daily since election night when he trailed by more than 5 percent. His current lead of 0.63 percent is enough to avoid a machine recount which would be triggered with a less than 0.5 percent lead, according to state law.Β
