Salomon Ahead of McClelland by 90 Votes, Moves Closer to Clinching Election

Salomon has a 0.60 percent lead which is enough to avoid a recount

Attorney Jesse Salomon appears to be pulling away from former Shoreline Planning Commissioner Robin McClelland in the race for Terry Scott's open Shoreline City Council Position 6 seat.

Salomon leads by 90 votes as of Monday afternoon. He has picked up votes every day since election night when he trailed by more than 5 percent. His lead of 0.60 percent is enough to avoid a machine recount which would be triggered with a less than 0.5 percent lead, according to state law.
