UPDATE: More Closures, Cancellations as Snow, Ice Continue

LFP City Hall is closed, Shoreline Planning Commission meeting is canceled

Updates from Shoreline:

Due to the snow, the following cancellations and service disruptions are in effect for Thursday, Jan. 19:

  • City Hall will close at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19.
  • Shoreline Pool classes and activities have been cancelled.
  • Spartan Recreation Center is open for open for open gym and weight room, but all other classes and scheduled programs cancelled. The facility will close at 3:00 p.m.
  • Richmond Highlands Recreation Center is closed and all classes and programs canceled.
  • Garbage service has been temporarily disrupted because of inclement weather conditions, and all residential collection routes have been cancelled for today. CleanScapes will provide limited commercial and multi-family service today, confined to those areas that can be served safely. Please place all carts (garbage, recycle, food scraps/yard debris) in the usual collection location on your next collection day. Double the amount of garbage will be collected on your next collection day at no extra cost.
  • The Community Garden meeting scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19 has been postponed. The new meeting date is Thursday, Feb. 9.
  • The Registered Sex Offender Community Notification meeting scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19 has been postponed to early February. For more information, please contact the King County Sheriff's Office Registered Sex Offender Unit at (206) 205-7948.

Cancellations and service disruptions for Friday, Jan. 20:

  • City Hall will open at 8:00 a.m., however, permit services and most other service counters will not be available until 9:00 a.m.
  • Spartan Recreation Center and Shoreline Pool will open at 9:00 a.m. Please call Spartan at(206) 801-2600 or Shoreline Pool at (206) 801-2650 for class and program cancellation information.

  • A Community Notification meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19, about two Level 3 registered sex offenders living in the city of Shoreline has been postponed. They live on the 2200 block of Northeast 197 Place, in Shoreline. The registered sex offenders are:
