Lyon Creek High Flow Bypass Project Open House on May 6

The city of Lake Forest Park will discuss the $4.3 million project to reduce flooding and erosion along the creek near Town Center.


Please join the city of Lake Forest Park, project engineers and environmental experts for the second open house discussing the Lyon Creek High Flow Bypass project.

The open house will take place Monday, May 6, 2013 at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Discussion topics will include project schedule, design and construction elements, traffic impacts, and environmental enhancements.

The $4.3 million project is designed to reduce flooding and erosion near Lake Forest Park Town Center by capturing floodwater in Lyon Creek where it crosses NE 178th St. and carrying it under Ballinger Way in a large pipe before releasing it at Lyon Creek Waterfront Park.
