LFP Mayoral Forum Tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Third Place Commons
Dwight Thompson, Mary Jane Goss and Stan Lippmann to debate
Lake Forest Park mayoral candidates Dwight Thompson, Mary Jane Goss and Stan Lippmann will appear in a forum tonight at the Third Place Commons stage at 7:30 p.m.
The League of Women Voters is sponsoring and moderating the forum for the Lake Forest Park Mayoral Primary on Aug. 16.
Each candidate will make opening remarks, four minutes in length. A question-and-answer session from the audience will follow with each question and response limited to one minute. Written questions will also be taken. The forum will end with two minute closing statements from each candidate.

The top two voter getters move on to the general election Nov. 8.
The winner will replace current mayor Dave Hutchinson who was elected in 1995 and is retiring after four terms.

Thompson is the current deputy mayor of Lake Forest Park and Goss previously held a council seat. Lippmann has not held office here before.
