The song is a popular Internet hit by South Korean rapper Psy. The official video has 415 million hits and has spawned hundreds of videos of people copying Psy's Gangnam Style" dance in dozens of different situations.
Political reporter Jim Camden of the Spokesman-Review cited The Atlantic in saying that Psy and his popular video are satirizing wealth and class in South Korean society. Marilyn McKenna tweeted that their 12-year-old son offered her $10 to never do it again.
