Council Expected to Commit $975k of State Funding to Pedestrian Projects, July 22

Council is expected to appropriate $540k of Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program funding for a Shoreline-Interurban Trail/Burke-Gilman Connector Project and $435k of Safe Routes to School Program for Einstein Safe Routes Project.

The Shoreline City Council meets for regular business meetings each Monday starting at 7:00 p.m. Workshop Dinner Meetings are held at 5:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. 

Highlights from the upcoming July 22 Council Agenda include:

  • Shoreline Fire Commissioners and Chief
  • Proclamation of National Night Out Against Crime
  • Authorize the City Manager to Obligate $435,000 of Safe Routes to School Program State Funding for the Einstein Safe Routes Project
  • Authorize the City Manager to Obligate $540,000 of Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program State Funding for the Shoreline-Interurban Trail/Burke-Gilman Connectors Project
  • Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Construction Contract for the N. Fork Thornton Creek LIP Stormwater Retrofit Project
  • Adoption of Resolution No. 349 Adopting the 2014-2019 Transportation Improvement Plan

Watch Council Meetings: online and broadcast on cable channels 21 and 37 on Tuesday at noon and 8 p.m. and Wednesday through Sunday at 6 a.m., noon and 8 p.m.
