Closure of Burke-Gilman Detour Planned for Tues. Oct. 25

Paving crew laying down fresh blacktop from Logboom Park to Ballinger Way

King County’s redevelopment of the Burke-Gilman Trail through Lake Forest Park is getting closer to completion, and a paving crew will be laying down fresh blacktop along the stretch of trail from Logboom Park to Ballinger Way in late October.

In order to get the work done, the designated trail detour at the northern end of the redevelopment project will have to close for at least four hours on Tuesday morning, Oct. 25. Paving can’t be done in the rain, so the project could have to be rescheduled because of inclement weather.

King County Parks will keep residents and trail users posted on any changes to that schedule. Find timely updates on the King County Parks Plog, http://kingcountyparks.wordpress.com.
