Approval of City's Lawsuit Against North City and Aurora Projects Contractor Highlights Council Agenda
City seeking $1.1 million to remedy problem
The City Council meeting for April 9 will lead off with a Proclamation of Arbor Day following the flag salute, and reports from city manager Julie Underwood and the Council.
Highlighting the consent calendar is a request to authorize Underwood to file a lawsuit in King County Superior Court to recover damages from Gary Merlino Construction Company, Inc. and SCI Infrastructure for defective right-of-way poles installed with the North City right-of-way project and the first mile of the Aurora Project.
The city is seeking up to $1.1 million in compensation to remedy the problem.
