Scott, who graduated from Shorecrest High School this year and was attending Washington State, was one of five young adults traveling in a 2003 black Ford Escape that crashed after apparently hitting an icy patch on I-90. Washington State Patrol officers found the car on its side around 10:40 a.m.

Scott was pronounced dead at the scene, and the three other passengers and the driver, a 19-year-old Kent woman, were transported to local hospitals.
