Woman Breaks into Ex's House, Assaults New Girlfriend: LFP Police Blotter

The following information is selected from Lake Forest Park Police reports for April 10-14. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, April 10

  • Stolen plates: a man was stopped for having stolen plates, but claimed he was the unwitting victim of plates being switched. He returned the plates to police and got information to file a report with his local police department in Lynnwood.
  • Using the baby: Two people were trespassed from the mall, and police discovered they had about 20 items of clothing hidden underneath a child and wrapped in a baby blanket in their stroller. They refused to sign the trespass warning but were told they faced arrest if they returned.
  • Car prowl: Two unlocked cars on the 19200 block of Lago Place NE were prowled, and some things such as a bowling ball and old address book were stolen.

Saturday, April 13

  • A 41-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of breaking into her ex boyfriend’s home and assaulting his current girlfriend, trying to pull her out of the bed and hitting on the window.

  • Copper pipe was reported stolen from a business at 14540 Bothell Way NE, and it appeared the suspect also attempted to strip wire from the electrical conduit. The manager reported it, but later the president called police and reported that they had cut off the accessible copper to thwart thieves and to salvage to benefit the club.
