Woman Assaults and Damages Property of Ex-Husband

The following blotter items range from October 11, 2012 – October 13, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

 

On October 13th, in the parking lot of Bethel Lutheran Church, at 17418 8th Avenue NE, a woman assaulted her ex-husband after following him around for a period of time. The woman also reportedly damaged property at her ex-husband’s private residence.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: At Shoreline Community College, located at 16101 Greenwood Avenue North, a student was hit on the head by a rock thrown by another student. The victim of the assault said that this other student – whom he had never seen before – also tried to hit him with a tree branch.

LARCENY, VALUE OF MORE THAN $250: In the parking lot of the Fred Meyer store located at 18325 Aurora Avenue North, a bike was stolen.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, FORCED ENTRY: On the 18300 block of Wallingford Avenue North, two unknown suspects kicked in the back door of a private residence and stole jewelry inside the home.

DUI: The incident occurred on a public roadway at the intersection of North 155th Street and Westminster.

ROBBERY: In the parking lot of the Goodwill store located at 14500 15th Avenue NE, a cell phone was stolen from an individual who was attacked and pepper sprayed.

October 12

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: On the 15500 block of 9th Avenue NE, a woman left her residence in the middle of the morning. She returned at roughly 2:30 p.m. and discovered that the gate to her yard had been opened. A table in that yard had been broken.

VANDALISM: On the 16500 block of Fremont Avenue North, a park bathroom was marked with a black pen. The labels “RIPS MBK” and “METHOD BOMBER MB” were scrawled on the bathroom.

October 13

VANDALISM: At Richmond Beach Park, located at 2021 NW 190th Street, the women’s bathroom was marked by ineligible graffiti in black spray paint. The graffiti stretched five feet high and 10 feet wide.

FOURTH-DEGREE ASSAULT: On the 20200 block of Ballinger Way North, an individual was involved in a physical altercation near his residence, but refused to provide information on the suspect.

VANDALISM: At the 2200 block of NE 200th Street, an individual’s car was keyed on both the driver-side door and the front left panel.

FRAUD: At the 2500 block of NE 203rd Street, a Bank of America debit card number was used to make $1,200.00 in fraudulent charges. The person who was defrauded has canceled his debit card and is willing to prosecute.

STALKING/HARASSMENT: At the 1500 block of NE 192nd Street, a woman was allegedly harassed by her ex-boyfriend.

THREATS: At North 155th Street and the Interurban Trail, the suspect made a vague but identifiable verbal threat to slit the victim’s throat.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: At the 2200 block of NE 200th Court, a person took pills and alcohol but denied making a suicide attempt.
