University Place Woman Shares Her Memories of Tony Radulescu

Mary Parsons shared a great story with Patch about the time she first met the Washington State Patrol trooper. She watched as a caravan that included a car carrying the slain officer's body left Lakewood bound for Kent.

Mary Parsons has a great story about Tony Radulescu.

The University Place woman shared it with Patch moments after a caravan of cars left Mountain View Funeral Home less than an hour ago, bound for Kent.

Parsons, standing with a handful of other people, wiped her eyes as the caravan of limousines, WSP troopers on bikes and other vehicles slowly turned onto Steilacoom Boulevard West.

"It was really shocking," Parsons said about the news that Radulescu had been shot during an early morning traffic stop Feb. 23 near Port Orchard.
